Chair Affair 2009
"It was a terrific turnout and we are gratified by so much support for the arts in education program. We are near our fundraising goal and thank all who attended the event, created a chair or table, or donated to our cause. Our sponsor drive is still in progress and we look forward to meeting our fundraising goal of $6,000." -Susan Doyle, Program Manger, PT Artscape.
The Mt. Baker Block Building was transformed into an enchanted forest like gallery space filled with student artwork and one-of-a-kind chairs and tables created by artists who generously shared their time and talents. "The Chair Affair and Art Wave are made possible by the hard work and passion of over forty community volunteers, participating businesses, parents, students and teachers." According to Sarah Ohman, Event Coordinator.
